Job Description:
- The DevOps Specialist will work across multiple projects, supporting the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of modern digital services.
- The role focuses on automation, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and DevOps best practices within Agile delivery teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain scripts, tools, and procedures for operational automation.
- Implement automation for deployments and maintenance with minimal downtime.
- Lead operational support of digital services in production environments.
- Manage configuration, credentials, and environment settings.
- Plan and manage system maintenance activities.
- Manage database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recoveries.
- Create templates and reusable patterns for application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate provisioning of development and testing environments.
- Build monitoring, logging, and telemetry solutions to improve system observability.
- Support early integration testing, security scans, system testing, and performance testing.
- Support limited-availability releases such as Alpha and Beta launches.
- Continuously improve DevOps processes and maintain technical documentation.
- Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies while collaborating in high-performance teams.
- Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with BuildMaster.
- Experience with cloud-based and mobile application development.
- Experience designing and supporting disaster recovery architectures and processes.
- Strong experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience replicating environments manually or through Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience scaling services using horizontal and vertical scaling techniques.
- Experience with VM sizing based on performance testing.
- Experience working as a DevOps Specialist on large-scale Agile enterprise projects.
- Experience collaborating within enterprise Agile development teams.
- Experience modernizing large-scale legacy systems into digital services.
- Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
- Experience leveraging AI tools in DevOps practices.
- Experience working in large national or global organizations.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
- CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Containerization and orchestration.
- Cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
- Configuration management and automation tools.
- Monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- DevSecOps and secrets management.
- Release engineering and deployment strategies.
- Disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
